l miss it every year, for the rush in still getting everything done here, l forget to write you a message to wish you a peaceful day. However, l think of every one of you opening your presents or watching your loved ones opening your presents - l heard that in some families it is custom to offer some of your food rpesents to the other persons in the room with you, so if you ordered some of the Continuum Conceits chocolates, maybe you will get one offered back to you! l have heard from my family in France who have been sharing their Apostles box and had their Christmas diner today in peace. (there was a nice menu, though l am not sure about the foie gras, now l have learned that they vaccinate all the commercial ducks with MRNA vaccines in France) . It was nice to see them over the internet, the marvels of the modern age! It has been and still is a beautiful chilly day in Herefordshire, (painfully cold for the fingers and feet, to be outside, in fact), and l hope it is beautiful where you are also and if not, that you have something cosy and warming to enjoy. Thank you all again for all your purchases of chocolates and for those who will get the magnifying glass to have a look at the Apostles adventures. l have decided that since l can't get the camembert boxes any longer, that l will be sewing more boxes in the new year: l have been experimenting with boxes made in a simpler way than the large fabric boxes some of you enjoyed this year, in 2 halves, like the cheese boxes. Since they don't take so much work, they should be a similar price to the camembert boxes. l will just have to make them earlier than in November, this time! l will be making ganaches bars in the next few days after l have had a rest, so l will be putting them online for those of you who may want some of the Apostles and prunes ganaches in large tablettes. The back stock is rather depleted and there is a lot to redo. In fact, l have just bought some more Duchy cream yesterday to make some more saltde caramel - big batches of those are needed. Enough talking about work, for the moment, there is an evening to enjoy! Best wishes to all, Alexandra
