The Apostles chocolate selection is back for its 2025 edition! As usual, l have used as many local ingredients as l have been able to find, including berries and fruit.
All the boxes come with a top drawing, an Apostles adventures drawings and a menu of the chocolate centres. (l haven't done the drawings yet)
 
The choices of selections Apostles boxes will be as follow:
- The mighty fabric box which replaces the Chinese imported card box from last year comes with the double selection which is present in the Camembert cheese box, as well as an extra 8 chocolates with alcohol centers , so, a total of 40 chocolates
 
- The double selection Camembert cheese box has 2 of each of 16 types of chocolates
 
- The single selection has 16 chocolates, one of each flavour. It has a smaller version of both the menu and the apostles adventure drawing.
Flavours included in this year's box:
 
1- Orange liqueur and garden blackcurrant ganache
2- Fresh bergamote and Kington blackberry ganache
3- Lavender and blackberry fondant
4- Handmade nougat with local honey, four nuts (pistachio, cashew, hazelnut and almond), candied peel (grapefruit, yuzu, orange and lemon), sour and sweet cherries, mulberries.
5- Calvados and local unsprayed apple;
6- Hazelnut praline and chicorée Leroux (French chicory drink, very popular there, much more than coffee, si, si!);
7- Almond praline and thinggy bean; (a bean l have never used yet and keep forgetting the name of, something like "tonka" which smells very aromatic)
8- Limequat and Kington grown wineberries, ganache
9- Dehydrated, unsprayed local pear slice dipped in chocolate
10- Kington grown ginseng berries, liqueur with fresh ginger and lemon zest (liquid center)
11- Penybont Spice with local chillies (mild) , spices , honey and dried fruit;
12- Strawberry and mint fondant,
13- Rose and dragon fruit fondant,
14- Liquid Morello cherry liqueur, (made from this year's garden cherries!)
15- Île-de-Ré Salted caramel,
6) Violet and blueberry fondant.

Apostles Solstice/ Christmas Collection 2025

Ingredients:Chocolate couverture (58% or 76% cocoa content dark chocolate, 42% cocoa content milk, 32% cocoa white (cocoa mass, sugar, [milk powder if milk or white chocolate], vanilla).

1) Mulberry liqueur with Kington mulberries: dark chocolate, Kington grown ripe mulberries, vodka, unrefined sugar , mulberries, non-homogenised cream .

2) Liquid cherry liqueur with garden cherry: Morello cherry, cherry liqueur, sugar, organic corn starch.

3) Orange liqueur and garden blackcurrant: dark chocolate, vodka, unrefined sugar, organic orange zest,Croft farm garden blackcurrant purée.

4) Ginseng berries, ginger and lemon zest liqueur: dark chocolate, Kington grown ginseng berries, vodka, unrefined sugar, fresh grated ginger, organic lemon zest

5 ) Dipped pear: local unsprayed dehydrated pear, chocolate.

6) Bergamote: milk chocolate, bergamote juice, non-homogenised cream, candied bergamot peel.
7 Handmade nougat: sugar, EGG WHITES, local honey, toasted pistachio, cashew, hazelnut and almond, candied ginger,candied yuzu and Buddah’s hand, sour and sweet cherries, mulberries.

8) Salted caramel: unrefined sugar, non-homogenised cream, butter, ile-de-Ré salt.

9) Limequat and japanese wineberries: white chocolate, limequat puree, Kington grown Japanese wineberries,non-homogenised Tom Parker’s cream, unrefined sugar, sorbitol.

10) Almond praline with tonka bean: milk chocolate, toasted almond, unrefined sugar, non-homogenised Duchy cream, sorbitol, tonka bean.

11) Hazelnut and Chicory Leroux praline:White chocolate, non-homogenised Duchy cream, coarsely chopped hazelnuts, Chicorée Leroux extract, sorbitol.

12) Penybont Spice with local chillies (mild): sugar, agave syrup, local honey, dates, mulberries, sour and sweet cherries, candied orange peel, orange and lemon zest, cloves, nutmeg, black pepper, cinnamon, local chillies from Kington (mild).

13) lavender and blackberry fondant: organic fondant, wild blackberry powder, lavender extract.
14) violet and blueberry fondant: organic fondant, wild blueberry powder, violet extract.

15) rose and dragon fruit fondant: organic fondant, pink dragon fruit powder, rose extract.16) Mint and strawberry fondant: organic fondant, strawberry powder, mint extract.

Keep in dark, cool place but not the fridge as it may draw humidity onto the chocolates. An unheated cold room is perfect.
 
 
Resumé of the Apostles adventures: the Apostles drawings are about 12 men who are always up to mischiefs of some sort. Previously, they went camping in the Garden of Herefordshire and met the 3 Goddesses.Then, they went to the moon, then on Treasure Island, to Croft Farm; 3 years ago they were on a blank page floating in someone's mind. In 2023 they were in Central America, meeting the Anunaki, the "alien gods " of the old testament (according to some researchers, a theory which makes sense to me, because the consciousness that created all this wouldn't be a vengeful, resentful, jealous "god", this looks too much like a humanoid creature's mind with its ego flaws to me, and it also states "Gods" with an S which means there were several, hence believing it was Aliens in the garden of Eden messing with the human genome, which suits my Apostles drawings!) and last year there was Macron on the front of the box (who likes changing old vitraux from Notre Dame to put modern masonic vitraux instead) and they were going to Mars using a portal which was by Notre Dame's entrance, the one which didn't manage to burn down with the cigarette end. (oh don't l talk too much on my products descriptions... )
This year, they are in Antartica . l don't know how the penguin ended up looking like Brigitte Macron, though.
 
This year, there is an extra drawing, l couldn't help myself. (you will only get 2 next year).
The order is the front of the box, where we see the Apostles on a flying carpet reaching the wall of ice of Antartica.
The second drawing is them having lost control of their carpet, into an area which has extra-terrestrial life.
The third drawing shows them in an unlikely place, with some reading of Hahnemann's homepathy book and the 4th drawing as well as being the menu, shows Bashar and 2 of the Apostles.
